This is a living campaign website — one that will continue to grow and evolve throughout the campaign, with new information, events, photographs, opportunities to get involved, and occasional live broadcasts.

Hi! I'm Denis Marier.

I'm running to be your next

Ward 6 City Councillor

Listen • Collaborate • Deliver

I am grateful to live, work, and serve in Windsor, on the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations: the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi. I acknowledge our responsibility to honour the treaties, protect and care for these lands and waters, and continue the work of reconciliation through action.

From Riverside to the World

— and Home Again.

Different places. Greater perspective. A stronger Riverside.

A Windsor Boy. A Global Journey.
A Stronger Home.

I grew up in Riverside, where some of my earliest lessons about leadership, community and service began. Those lessons eventually carried me far beyond Windsor—but they have never stopped shaping the way I see home.

I’ve been blessed with opportunities to live, learn and serve in communities across Canada and around the world. My journey has taken me from the base of Mt. Everest to a month volunteering at Mother Teresa’s Home for the Dying Destitute in Calcutta, and through five international medical relief missions.

Some of those experiences were extraordinary. Others were difficult and deeply moving. All of them taught me something about resilience, compassion, community, and what it means to be of service to others.

But after living and travelling abroad, I have never encountered anywhere the same community spirit I see here in Windsor. We have a unique grit—a determination to rally around our own when people are hurting, whether through illness, hardship, severe weather, or circumstances beyond their control. People across neighbourhoods, cultures, and backgrounds come together to help one another. I have not witnessed this kind of resilience and solidarity in any other community.

No matter how far I’ve travelled, Riverside has always been home.  And this is where I want to put everything I’ve learned to work.

something I've never forgotten since growing up in Riverside."
